    I hated turning 50 as did my wife but having a few years now to get used to it we're finding there's a lot going for it. Okay the old body isn't as spry but we are so much more relaxed and really enjoying ourselves. Mrs. Bear still looks fabulous and about ten years younger at least than she is, (50 is the new 35), and we've learned so much in the last couple of years that life is actually starting to make sense...

    A lot of our close friends are now in their 60's and 70's and still refusing to be "old"...

    Well thank you Berries, until I read that link I thought I had never heard of him!

    Turns out that he was just another someone I knew about without actually being concious of it ..... sigh, is that normal?
