Avalon had electrical problems all day the thing was only doing 190k top bike are doing 230. I herd she is also to fat haha ( sorry AV) combined rider bike are 14kgs over the minimum weight limit.
She has done 1min46 there before but says this is the best handling bike she has ever used I think she has a loan of Jason Eastons full ohlins front forks so if they get it running good I think she has a good chance of getting on that start grid

Yeah I would've thought a ban from this round better suited to the seriousness of the fuckup.

Yeah, I saw Chris Osborne with his sweaty digits wrapped around Jason's forks on their way to Avalon's bike. He mentioned she's also loaned someone's hot engine too (one of the Hoogie's?), so it sounds like she's on pretty close to the best bike NZ can produce via a real communal effort. Great effort from all concerned I reckon, and hopefully they're rewarded with a place on the start grid.

Any news about Avalon? I saw the video coverage. She was about to be stretchered away from the track. It did not show the crash, just her on the ground near the bike. She was concious but did not get up.

Yeah, hope she is OK, hope also that Dad is OK!!!

By the way, if anyone is in the claiming mood, Jack Millars parents are both Kiwis and he was born in NZ in Hawkes Bay.

Shall we claim him??? Huh?? Huh???

Left NZ when he was 6 mths old or thereabouts.......

Sorry to hear about Avalon. How fast was Stoner today eh!!?? Awesome to see he rides the Honda on the lock stops through the fastest turn at 240kph the same way he did the Ducati!!! I saw Hayden do it a couple of times too. Maybe Rossi should park up there and watch how it's done?

Thanks for the update, Kiwi Graham. Avalon, hope you are not in too much pain. Great to hear there are no major injuries. Another time . Wishing you a fast recovery.
