    Help with colour matching

I broke one of my peg brackets a while ago and my dad made another one for my out of aluminium. I thought he was going to make one for each side but he isn't going to.

So now I have a zinc one that is the original colour and an aluminium one. I want them to look the same but I'm not sure what I'm able to do or how to do it. The stock one is this colour Click image for larger version.

Can I sand it or is it easy to make the new one the same colour?

I was going to get them anodised until I realised I was only getting one. Making another is a bit too expensive for him to do at the moment. Will the zinc and aluminium ones come out looking the same if powder coated?
