    Showa mr8-781 rebuildable ?

I'm wanting to take my nc30 to the track. At the moment I'm giving the entire brake system a birthday, also procuring spare rims with sticky rubber, buying spares most likely to be smashed if I loop it and so on. Now the suspension is 22yrs old and in need of some attention. Does anyone know if the stock shock (Showa mr8-781) with remote reservoir, is rebuildable ?

If so, is it worth it ? I figure stock parts in good condition are going to be better than stock parts in 22yr old neglected condition.

Any help here would be much appreciated.

    Cheers
    Dan.

Daniel... I'm pretty sure it can be.
A revalve while it's in bits might be worthwhile, too.

I dont recommend trying to rebuild these because of an encapsulated baseplate, but I will reply in detail to your e-mail

Soo they probably could be tuned up some what.

But it is by no means worth it.

Might just have to buy some Ohlins.

    Dam it..
