    Dririder Summit Trousers 2XL

    Dririder Summit Trousers.

    Size: 2XL

Black with thin reflective strips on the lower leg. Click here for info on the Dririder site (it says Summit-2, but apart from the label on the back and on the pocket flaps, they look identical).

They have CE approved armour in the knees and hips (soft armour).
500 Denier Cordura construction with 1000 Denier Cordura reinforcing on the butt and knees.
    Reissa 100% waterproof breathable membrane.
Zip vent things on the thighs.
    Removable thermal liner.

I bought these after getting fed up with my leaky Fieldsheer pants which were getting too small for me.
I've been really impressed with the waterproofness of these pants. My bike hasn't got a fairing; the rain tends to get funnelled into the crotch area by the wind. I've been using these pants commuting to uni the last 5 months and they haven't leaked at all (and I've been caught in a few heavy showers).
    ~5 months old.

They have never been in an accident. The only thing wrong with them is one of the rivets holding a corner of the fly storm flap pulled through the material - but the stitching is still intact, so it hasn't affected the pants much.

Unfortunately I think I've either grown a bit, or put on some weight, because the pants are getting a bit too small for me. Maybe they were on the small side when I got them, I dunno. So I've bought myself a new pair, the next size up.

New these pants are $350. I'm hoping $150 is a fair price for them second hand.

I've just washed them today by hand using NIKWAX Tech Wash (special stuff for washing things with breathable membranes). They're currently drying. I'll post a photo of them when they've dried.

I'll put an add up on trademe in a few days if no one here wants them.

For what it's worth, these are excellent pants. We've sold lots at AMPS without a single complaint.

Here is the photo. The blue arrow shows where the rivet pulled through the material.
Will post add on trademe shortly.
