I would be pissed off if I saw someone doing that to my bike. Obviously someone has done it, as I now have a very deep gouge on my tank in my new paint work![]()
I would have a few quiet words if it was my bike, some people just dont get it, and a little calm education could help them. If it wasnt mine, id still have quiet words, in the style that scumdog suggested "nice bike mate, is it yours?" "no", "maybe you shouldnt mess with other peoples things".
I get a bit more animated if its a hotrod or classic car tho, i couldnt give a crap about my daily drive ute, but lean on my streetrod,(with its brand new paintjob) and you will get an earfull. I was at americarna festival a couple of years back, talking to the owner of a t-bucket (twin superchargers on it) when some guy put his kid in the drivers seat of the bucket to "have a play". I thought the owner of the bucket would go nuts, cause he had tats and piercings everywhere, he just walked up to the guy and had a few quiet words, the child was removed and that was the end of that.Very calm and well done.
Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which i desire
Shit, been there before.
Came out of a shop to find some (really fat!) lady had lifted her little kid up onto PhatGirl....icecream and all
Stood their in complete amazement at first, as her kid smeared icecream all over the tank and made a really good effort of scratching the paint and kicking the shit out of my carbs with his pudgy little kiddie legs (wot a darling!)
I walked over glowing with rage.....but when the lady saw me coming she spat out "I supose yourve got a fucking problem with this!".......I couldn't believe it
So I calmly pointed out the light weight "flexing" Italian stand holding the bike up and VERY descriptively told her what the heavy bike would do to her son WHEN it fell over, due to her ugly and obviously inbred little snot using it as a playground.....she grabbed her kid off the bike like it had multiple STD's.
...I did "semi politely" ask her to clean the icecream off the tank.....but she told me to fuck off!(I was scared she might EAT ME! if i pushed the issue any further)
....some people just have NO respect for other peoples possessions....or their own body....or the gene pool.

When Life thows me a curve
...I lean into it!
Came out of a shop, a lad about 7-8 was looking longingly at my bike and just had to pat the tank.
I got to the bike about the same time his mum got to him, with her permission he ended up sitting on it, starting it up and giving it a bit of a rev.
His mum didn’t look too impressed but I think we have another recruit waiting in the wings…
He had shown obvious respect to another’s property and that is now a rear commodity, and should be rewarded.
feel the same way about ya missus? - I hope so I hear she's a looker . .
Ive no issue with people touching my bike IF THEY ASK. Several kids have sat on my bike, given it a rev etc, because Ive seen them looking at it, and their parents have said 'No little johnny dont touch' - in such circumstances, provided im not in a hurry, Im pretty accommodating.
But when people lack any respect for me and my property, well, I can be the most disrespectfull nasty little cunt Ive ever seen when I wanna be
Many moons age my X & I helped a friend out by lending a show bike (HD) as part of a static display for a corporate do. It seemed harmless enough at the time.
The bikes were ropped off. But that didn't stop a Japanese business dude from climbing over the rope & sitting fully astride the bike so his friend could make with the happy snap... welll snap I did. By the time I spotted it & got to him I think his friend would have had a pic of the blurred image of me yanking the guy from the bike by the collar.![]()
.... I'm feeling much calmer now![]()
