It would've been the smart thing to do as far as the championship goes, but it's not really Stoners style. Another reason I'm a fan. I reckon it looks like he might've turned the corner with the Honda as it were. Can't wait for Mugello!

Top idea. Last week he had a go at Bridgestone and this week they got their own back.

So you'd rather no one took them to task over dangerous/shit tyres?

I agree fully. I've never been into the one make tyre rule.

That was an uncharacteristic error from Stoner... opened the championship up nicely.

I know Spies didn't manage to overtake anybody in the whole race but did he even put a serious move on anybody? I'm drawing a blank.

Anyone notice Alvaro Bautista's insane try at a pass again? he went in way to hot and run it wide on the exit. if someone had turned in a little early it would have been skittles

Sheesh mate...it is racing. How many times does a passing manouvre get the guy trying it in too hot? He then rode right round the outside of him next corner. Not a lot wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.

Exactly. He fucked up last at the previous round but the lad's showing he's a racer and not letting that mistake slow him down.

Besides, anyone seen Marco Melandri's last few races in WSBK??

Okay, new idea for a race series:

Get that mad Sheik who brought us the A1 GP car series to buy a fleet of the Suter 2 stroke 500 bikes that have recently been introduced and start a World series for motorbikes. Each country who enters gets 2 bikes and whatever stuff they need to keep them running, and selects a rider or riders to contest the series. Each country involved host a round. I'd watch that!
