Yup, seen that from several sources.
I asked Il Direttore and he hadn't heard it.

For the sake of Moto GP racing, Rossi needs to be at the front fighting for wins.

Its a damn pity Suzuki ain't coming back a year earlier
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Yeah a team lead by Revvin Kevin with Rossi on board would be very interesting!

BOMBSHELL. Spies: I Have Chosen To Leave Yamaha At the End of the Season

American Ben Spies said this morning that he won't be riding for Yamaha in MotoGP next season, that he has made the decision to leave the factory Yamaha team at the end of the 2012 season.

Spies said via email this morning:

Yesterday I made a comment on Twitter to cause a stir. (Today) I'll be more in saying that I have chosen to leave Yamaha after this season for a litany of reasons. I will explain more when I feel it is appropriate. I'm discussing my situation with my sponsors and they are behind me. There are a few people at Yamaha who I hate to leave. And they know who they are. I wish Yamaha the best. I won't make any further comments until the offical announcement comes out.

Spies won the World Superbike championship for Yamaha in 2009--his rookie season in WSBK. That remains Yamaha's only WSBK title. Spies also scored rookie of the year honors in Grand Prix in 2010 and also won the Dutch TT last season. He also nearly won the final Grand Prix of the 2011 season at Valencia, but was beaten to the line by World Champion Casey Stoner.

Didn't think he'd bail. Dunno about Ben, but Lin Jarvis is a good reason for getting out of there if you ask me.

    Dovi for the factory ride!!!!!

Never liked spies, he took the championship from Haga, in the last year Haga had a chance.

What a raving cock head. What Spies did in his maiden WSBK year was pure brilliance, absolutely inspiring to watch. If it was Haga's championship that Spies stole, why did Haga not win it?

I wanna see Spies jump back on a GSXR1000, go back to WSBK and kick some arse, Elbowz out.

You fucking anal wart. I was merely saying I wanted Haga to win instead of Spies, and he would have if Spies wasn't fuckin awesome.

If Spies goes back to WSBK and rides for Suzuki I will be very torn. I am a Gixxer fan, but not a Spies fan.

I know I'm not over endowed with intellect, but you know I'm not retarded aye?

I am aware that Haga is to blame for not having ever won the title, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.

Haga and Aaron Slight. The two best superbike racers to have never won the title.

Weird that he's leaked this just prior to the two US rounds... Yamaha's going to be really pleased about that.

I blame the bird that hit Haga when he was leading Race 2 at Monza for his loss of the championship. Crashed, raced injured and crashed again getting even more injured. Fucking stupid bird
