Maybe you shouldn't try? There's nothing in either that excludes anything in the other.

Well, as far as I can see. But...

What do Hayden, Stoner and Spies have in common?

Huge 'get the fuck off' highsides in qualifying. Hayden knocked unconcious, Spies ok, Stoner landed flat on his face and may've fucked an ankle. All looked REALLY ugly.

Several crashes in the same place and others including Rossi having "moments" there. Scary.
No wonder Wheeler reported concern in the pits.

Didn't seem to bother Pedrosa or Lorenzo too much. Yet.

There has always been some really nasty biffs at that place eh. Yet when Stoner mentions he doesn't like the place he's a queer cunt!

Think it's season over for him as far as winning the championship! Hopefully wee Pedro can make a go of it. Always better coming down to the wire eh!

Lorenzo apparently said this was the worst tarmac of the championship and he wanted improvements. He also made an observation that the riders who crashed were the ones who tended to steer with the rear more. (I'm guessing he's referring to Stoner and Hayden more than Spies?) Apparently, while the newer black asphalt is ok, the grey parts are slippery as fuck.
Interesting track to set a bike up for...

Remember Schwantz getting his panties in a bunch when Stoner dared comment in a neg light on his beloved track? Funny as. If the place is a shithole...it's a shithole. No amount of history about the place can change that.

Dunno. But over the course of the weekend they normally lay enough rubber to loose the 'greenness'. Think it's simply an unpredictable surface.

Yeah he had that ugly look of a dead man sliding down the track. So glad he ain't.

Yeah, knew he was out cold when I saw that. Puts a horrible feeling in the pit of your gut.

Speaking of Schwantz, his thoughts on the track today...

Sure does. And I agree with Schwantz when he says the track's the same for everyone. Sure is. Doesn't make it a great place to race though.

Virtually none? I've seen discussion - can't remember where. The track is cleaned before the GP but it needs rubber on it before it has grip. That makes it very tricky for the people laying the rubber.

Rossi says the track has no grip but the tyres do, thus high sides. Then there's the question of the two different surfaces...

Rossi also said Hayden was saying strange things in the medical centre. When Hayden saw Stoner he thought they had crashed together. Concussion a given.

It's not only the big bikes, there were high sides and injuries in the Moto3 class: Jack Miller, Danny Webb and Alex Marquez were all injured in qualifying.

Yeah I freaked when I saw that pic you posted Ian! Fuck the place. If I went to that GP, it'd actually be for the Mile on Sat night!
