Forecast is 80%chance of rain, isn't that Italian bloke pretty good in the wet and not buried to far back on the grid this weekend?

Pedro for the win. That's what I want to happen, and since he's a machine if it stays dry I am odds on to be right I think.

I'm going to left field for this one, but I'm saying Ben for the win tonight. Sounds like it could be questionable conditions, and he has done pretty good in the past in those type of races (excluding this year).

    Bring on the ridicule.
Disclaimer: I don't actually know what I'm talking about and everything I say should be taken as words of wisdom from a armchair general/mechanic/engineer/racer.

"It's a real shame for the sport, because Casey Stoner, I think, is the fastest guy I've ever seen on a motorcycle. He really is phenomenal. It's a tragedy he's going to call it a day. I'd like to think that maybe in a year or two he'll get bored and come back because he's still young enough to do that. The same with Ben. I think that deal is pretty much done, going to World Superbike with BMW next year. That's what I'm hearing. It's a big disappointment because Ben's obviously a big talent. But it hasn't worked for him this year. Again, I'd like to think he'll come back here to the premier class. That's what we've got here: the toughest, hardest class of motorcycle racing in the world, and we want the toughest, hardest, best motorcycle racers in it."
So you see...I don't want to bum the lil fucker (though I'd quite like to interfere with his gorgeous wee wife), I don't give a shit if he's funny or not. I couldn't care less if he complains, bitches, slaps other riders on the way past or poos his fucking pants. What I care about is, I'm about to never see the fastest, wildest, biggest balls guy I've EVER seen put on a set of leathers and a helmet race motorcycles any more. And I'm spewing.

You can repeat stories you've 'heard' about his wife being spoilt...you can hate him for his skill, millions, lifestyle or whatever. But that just makes you a sad jealous cunt.

Stats don't lie Shaun. Moto GP is about to loose one of the fastest and greatest way too soon. What's so good about that? And a quiter?
Indy with a severly fucked ankle look like a quiter to you?

    1) find one single post where I have said he is not an extremelly fast talented rider
    2) Sad and Jelous, hell no sport, just say what I think and 100% KNOW. They only thing I am sad and jelous about with racing is the fact that I had to stop way before I wanted too

    Stats don't lie Shaun.

    3) True, he is a 2 x world champion
    4) Rossi a 9 x

Moto GP is about to loose one of the fastest and greatest way too soon.

    5) AGREED ( Even though I said I would not agree with you for a month, my bad)

What's so good about that? And a quiter?

I don't actually talk shit to my customers Shaun. It's you that's been accused of stealing from people you work with/for from memory.

And the old 9 titles to two thing!

See if you can get your head round this then...

Mike Tyson is 9 times world heavyweight champ. Holyfield isn't in his weight division until he's won 7 of them.

Holyfield turns up, and beats Tyson 34 times, to the 23 times Tyson beats him. They both win 2 titles each. Who's the better fighter?

    I rest my case.

Now you could also explain what Stoners Mrs has to do with stuff? Other than she looks good.

your idea is not without merit

Ducati Team’s Valentino Rossi, who is renowned for his performances in the wet, put in a good showing to finish the morning in third.
Yamaha’s pole sitter Jorge Lorenzo set the fourth fastest time of the morning, ahead of Monster Yamaha Tech 3’s Andrea Dovizioso. Power Electronics Aspar’s Aleix Espargaró put in a great performance to finish as top CRT in eighth, and even beat some prototype machines on the way. Many riders will not see this session as terribly relevant, as the race as 2pm local time is expected to be held in the dry, with no more rain expected. However, should conditions change once more, then the warm-up gives a good indication as to what could be expected.

Whoever is winning at the time, beating a world champ may just mean the champ is passed their prime. It's not like the 100m where there is a benchmark to compete against.

However, this much debate is surely a good sign, as it means the competition is close enough for some good racing
