I know last year is over but came across this nice slomo.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

    Fuck that dude could ride.

He's a whinging dickhead and a liar who thinks he's bigger than the sport.
    Good riddance.

So bitter Oscar. And how do you know he wasn't? And I struggle to see why anyone that's into the sport would not miss seeing someone in action that rides like he does. I can't get my head round it. It's like he's fucked your wife or something.

Not bitter, just tired of the spoiled brat pouring bile over the sport I love..

Even Superbike Planet have had enough:

As usual, Stoner offered no specifics about his desired changes for the sport, instead preferring just to rage against the machine.

He's left the sport, he should drive his touring car and shut the fuck up now.

Loving the irony of your posts. Superbike planet sounds as bitter and twisted as you and Stoner combined.

I note Kevin Schwantz feels the need to comment on GP racing on Superbike planet. Is that ok? I mean you know...he won 1 title and not as many races as Stoner. How 'bout Ago? He seems keen on commenting of stuff and he's been gone how long? And if you're such a purist and fan...I still fail to see how you cannot miss watching someone that has surely been...one of if not THE most spectacular racers of modern times.

And pouring bile over the sport I love be fucked. You're just still grumpy because I was right about Stoner being the fastest guy in the world at the time on two wheels, so you cling on to hating him instead.

Funny but a bit sad at the same time.

Stoner was a fantastic racer and I liked his down to earth Aussie style and comments and I'm with crasher on this, why are some of you more of a whinger than he is by whinging about him. If you remember his podium press conferences he always referred to "we" so he greatly appreciated he wasn't the only one in the team. No wonder Honda liked him and would have him back no problem.
    Cheers

And I read with great interest how the head honcho was constantly blown away by what Stoner could do on their bike. Just when they thought they'd seen it all, he'd do something else new or different.

Odd though. They claim to be all about the sport...but they're not really. They've confused it with Shortland St.

I admire the dude because he is one hell of a rider. As soon as people start talking shit/blindly defending a rider about all the other BS I rapidly loose interest. Does anyone remember the 'ol saying about 'walking a mile in his shoes'?

Lets deal with the fucking facts and leave stupid ass conjecture out of this, otherwise it just becomes another KB pissing match.

Hmmm, I like Stoner's riding style for sure and no doubt the guy is/was one of the very fastest on a Moto GP bike but not all the time, if he was barring mechanical failure he would have won every race he entered. He was on top for certain periods but so were others too hence we have other world champions other than Stoner.
One of my pet peev's is how his fans wank on about how he slides his bike.... look around people, they're all doing it to some extent or another, anyone would think he was the first rider to slide a GP bike!
Now I have that off my chest... I'll be interesting to see how he goes in V8 poopercars, wish him well I truly do.
As for facts and conjecture all we have is what the media decide to sensationalise that day and if anyone tells you they know what's really going they're lying. All comments on this sort of stuff here on KB is ALWAYS conjecture and coloured by the rose tinted sunglasses of the wearer and there's nothing too much wrong with that, we are fans and we have favourites, that's the way it is. People are always going to raise up there hero's and piss on their competitor's.
That said I think Stoner is a fast riding self important little cock!
Am I right? Who knows... really...
    Oh yeah, Rossi rules!

    + 1.

I took that comment to also mean Stoner brought new ideas to the team, I think the Honda guy's words were "every day." So he wasn't just riding, he was thinking about how to make the bike better too.

The only irony at work is the fact that Superbike Planet was a Stoner cheering section whilst he was riding and is now (like a lot of people) just wishing he would shut up and go away.
I mean, fans spitting on him?
    Really?
Is there any evidence to back that up?
