This is the best comment I have seen regarding Marcos' death and the associated discussion.

He was a great racer and I will certainly miss seeing him.

You guys should tell superbike planet it was Burt Munroe
    Maybe we should.
It was indeed Bert (Burt, to use is American name)) Munro in 1971, talking to NZ's Roger Donaldson in the making of his dicumentry "Offerings to the gods of Speed".
I can well forgive Super Sic if he borrowed that quote... it is a good one. (not that i have any rights to it....
Marco, and Bert can now do 200MPH together on the salt flats in the sky.

    Gods Speed super Sic.

The Misano circuit has confirmed it will be renamed the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit in honour of the Gresini Honda rider, who lived close to the track on Italy’s Adriatic coast.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

I'da thunk it was 10.30PM Sunday our time.

Other threads though say we should do it at 10.30AM Sunday so that it sort of starts and then rolls around the world through the timezones.

Don't know what my neighbours will make of it, but I guess I'll find out

    I don't currently have a bike...GUTTED.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
