I think a few people were feeling that. Quite a few home early. 6 sessions too much for ya?

I was feeling it after 2 (which included sittingout session 2 in the morning) so decided to leave on a high note instead of a bin from fuzzy brain.

But I managed to improve greatly my riding and speed in and out of corners so was a successful weekend for me.

I was quite surprised to see a steady stream of vehicles leaving from about 11:30am. Kept thinking it was such a fabulous day for riding I couldn't understand why so many were leaving. Forgot that quite a few had done 2 days riding already.

Mint day. Very happy with how my bike is coming along, although I probably shouldn't have tried to squeeze one more day out of those tyres. I swear the back it was vibrating so bad almost leaving the ground down the straight.

I was really surprised my Pilot Road 3's held up so well.

Already had done 4k on the tyres pre turning up and after riding home from the event today, they are still looking healthy with grip on them so hoping I should continue to get some good usage out of them.

I did Lesson 1 on Friday and got a lot out of it.
I'd recommend this to anyone who rides a bike irrespective if they intend to go to track days or racing.
By the end of the day I had the ( 50 BHP) Thruxton on the edge of the tyres scraping the pegs, something I did not think I would ever do.....
There was a few people of cruiser and tourers bikes and they said they learned alot so its not just about sports bikes, save up your pennies and do it.

    Note to ACC:
You should look at subsidising this as you say most of one vehicle accidents are vehicles going wide.....or speed or a combination of the two..don't waste our levy money on ' Mantrol" adds and signs at the side of the road put some money into proper training like the California Superbike School.
    Looking forward to Lesson 2
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Yeah I have to agree, there really should be a some ACC funding, INsurance reductions for completing the school maybe, and even a learner friendly version as most learners shouldn't be allowed on the road, I know my riding was absolutely pathetic when I passed my BHS.

Do us all a favour, by bringing yourself up to speed, before pulling onto the motorway.
