Attention Bus Drivers: Use some grey matter!
I have the day off work so I'm going to find any excuse I can to go for a ride. Go to make my morning coffee - no milk. Awesome! This is a great excuse for a ride.
So I nip down to the dairy on the bike, pop in grab some milk come back out and there's a bloody school bus parked about a foot from the rear wheel of my bike. I look at the bus driver as if to say "What the f*ck are you playing at?" but before I can even get animated about the subject he's tapping at his wrist like I'm holding him up.
At this point I can't see anything behind my bike because there is a great big bus filling up both my mirrors. Being on a main road, I'm not about to pull into traffic hoping that there won't be anything coming. So I sit there. I just wait until I can hear the bus starting to reverse in frustration and then proceed to sneak around the corner. Which was always an option but sends me in the complete opposite direction of where I wanted to go (in fact it directs me straight home).
Now I parked directly outside the dairy. It's not a bus stop. What the hell is this guys problem? Would I have been within my rights to stand there holding up my middle finger until he managed to engage a more civilised portion of his brain?
You only need two tools in life:
Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't.
WD-40 if it doesn't move and it should.
Brute force and ignorance always prevails.
Failure comes from too little brute force, or
too little ignorance.
