MX armour?

On Td me there are MX armour jackets consisting of full sleeves, elbow, shoulder, chest and back protection. Has anyone tried wearing this sort of stuff on their road bikes?

I had often thought it could give a good tight fitting protection. Obviously, not under a regular road jacket.

I did see Henry Cole on one of his shows wearing a similar set up over a tee shirt. Your thoughts?

Alpinestar make such a unit for the road. Great to ride with, just need to remember you're not Ironman lol.

Dont confuse Armour with Stone deflectors, most of it unless its a bigger brand is junk
