    Crashed Scorpio on TradeMe

Hi everyone, I've just got my BHS certificate and I'm looking for a commuter bike to ride from Henderson into the city. There's a crashed Yamaha Scorpio going on TradeMe. Do people think this is worth the cost of fixing up and re-registering or will it likely create more trouble than I'll save in $$?

    Thanks,
    Scary

Awesome... that's like saying my car was like new 10 years ago.
Learn basic maintenance as motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking in

There is a reason its been de-registered....
If the forks (left fork) has a slight, lol, bend then I'd suggest the head and frame are out too.

Leave it alone...the time you repair it, ( if your doing all the work yourself) and then have the bike revinned, you will proberly have spent and extra $1000 on top of the purchase price,

If you have too pay someone else too repair it consider that too

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-420563049.htm is this the one?

If you serrious, get a good mechaic to have look at the bike (will cost about $100 bux) Get george from motorcycle doctors to do this (if in auckland).

The reason its de reg is because of insurance, it MIGHT not be that bad. But it could be. remember insurance has to repair all the cosmetic stuff too so the write off price is not the get it back on the road price.

For your 1st bike i wouldnt recommend doing it tho. Its a bit of hassle.

but you should totes buy this bike http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-391926849.htm
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
