    I have one of those cheap Dick Smith multi-meters, and it has a max/avg/min setting. I'm sure many others do.

    Strap the multi-meter in, go for a ride, and when you come back you can look at the max figures ...

    Seems a good general calculation. Has anyone done this for their own use? How do you find the endurance for a race?

    The only prob i see with the calculation is that max draw usually happens at lower revs, not peak torque?, + dont trust amp hours as most modern injected bikes lose power bigtime below 12.5volts in supply / running mode.
