250 Ninja carb into ZZR250?

Ok I was onto a bike wreckers looking for a carb for my 93 zzr250. they didn't have any but offered a ex 250 ninja 09 carb instead. They told me that it would be a big improvement on the stock one.
From looking at picks the two look very similar and i was just wonder if there was anyone out there that has done something similar or anyone that knows if this would work?

As far as I'm aware they will slide right on in. Although the EX looks a heap different from your bike it uses the same engine as yours and the GPX250 I dunno if they will be an "improvement" over the stock carbs--but then if the stockers are worn out then yep big improvement
