Buy or exchange Yamaha Scorpio original gear change pedal

Hi all, I have a 2007 Yamaha Scorpio with the heel pedal cut off (a very nice job too, you can't tell that the heel pedal had ever been there) - came like that when I bought it.

Thing is, I want to use the heel pedal and would like to buy or exchange mine for an original un-cut gear pedal with the heel shifter.

It makes sense to me, but as it's not common, I can see how it can be problematic. But I'm keen to give it a go...

Personally I think you'll just end up cutting it off again.
Having said that talk to your local Yamaha dealer, if they still sell scorpions new they may be able to do you an exchange. I know the shop we bought the wife's one from chopped it off for us so you might save them a bit of effort

Sheesh! Yamaha Auckland wants $120 incl. GST and courier for a replacement original lever...
