Foolish lad! The right answer is ... in addition to! But I don't think my girl would be too impressed with that parked on the driveway!

Park it in my driveway then. And leave me the keys, you know just in case I have to move it...

When I were a lad I owned an earlier version of the Daimler. The genuine WW2 version 'scout car'. Its a wonderful thing and probably the best light armoured vehicle of the war years.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimler_Scout_Car Certainly the best british one!!!!

Its actually quite small but weighs in at around 2.5 ton (mine had the top part of the 'turret' removed). The 5 speed preselector box was very good and ideal for an off road vehicle but - best I ever got was 9MPG on the open road (55MPH flat out) dropping to 4MPG off road....

That and it leaked oil a fair bit..... Dad had a major spaz when I brought it home and flatly refused to even consider the Honey Tank I was offered for $500.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honey_tank

Fair enough - we did live in suburban ChCh after all.

Back in a previous life, I had a bit to do with the British Army tank training school (gunnery simulators since you ask)...those Ferrets had a reputation for breaking ankles with the kick from the gear change pedal.

Gear change pedal was the clutch pedal. There was a dinky wee gear change lever. Best plot was to just give the clutch pedal a boot....

I'd love to out-show the guys at work by parking the tank next to the GT-R, 22B Impreza, STiv7, etc etc...
Best would be clocking in late.
Roll past the back-end parking, jump out and clock in, jump back and proceed to parking spot all nonchalant.

Destined to never have one, oh well.
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.
