Suggestions for tyres; 2000 Honda VTR250

So I just got the motorcycle Dr to service my bike, and he pointed out a few things that need doing.

    Steering head bearing (Oh yay).

    Front tyre needs doing

Rear tyre is 3 months old (Maybe 5000 kays or so) and is already looking pretty shallow.

The bike had the standard bridgestones on it when I got it (bt45 from memory), which seem like good tyres, if not an old design. I replaced the rear 3 months ago with some roadrunner or something orother tyre that the newer VTRs come with, but it doesnt seem to offer the best grip, and is clearly wearing pretty quickly.

What would people suggest for a decent tyre? I want decent grip, and a good wear rate. Doesnt have to be top of the range, hopefully upgrading the bike in 3 or so months.

Pirelli Sport Demons or Bridgestone BT45
Either, or mixed, will give you great results. Grip for Africa and should last 10-12,000kms.
Bt45 is a dual compound too.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Fuck yeah, relatively cheap for the grip you get from them.

Had a bunch of sport demons on my old spada, they are great..
