    Yet another Noobie (CelticSam)

    Hello All

I am yet another noobie. I have had my learners all of 9 days and my bike 3 days. I took my gorgeous steel steed out for a ride around the parking lot today, then around the block a few times. Left turns only, no crossing traffic. I had my first biker wave Yay, I'm very happy and excited about my new adventure of motorcycling. I have my novice road course booked for the 25th, until then the parking lot and block will see a bit of me.

    Sam

Welcome to KB. I'm in CHCH and a new rider too. You'll get the hang of it soon enough, I was hesitant to ride the bike to work with all the traffic etc, now I feel lost if I have to take the car (can't carry boxes of records on the bike).
You only need two tools in life:
Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't.
WD-40 if it doesn't move and it should.

Brute force and ignorance always prevails.
Failure comes from too little brute force, or
    too little ignorance.

Welcome to this weird and wonderful forum, I too am very new to this motorcycling thing, but getting more brave and slightly more confident each time I ride. Off to Cape Reinga this Saturday on a group learner ride and it's a monumentous ride for me, but hey gotta try these things. Anyway enjoy yourself and take care out there.
