    FZR1000, cheap horsepower

Hi there folks, this is a 1990 Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP. King of the sportbikes until the first Fireblade came out, superior to the GSXR1100 and identical to the 1989 model for postie racing. This bike features, in no particular order:

    -New Pirelli Diablo Strada tyres
    -New Fuelflow fuel pump
    -New inlet rubbers
-Recently (<1000km) changed spark plugs and air filter
-All round new EBC HH+ brake pads
-Bodywork all present and in original factory red and white
    -New MotoBatt battery
-New fuel tap and float bowl gaskets
-Chassis just rolled over the clock but suspension still has good damping all bearings in spec everything straight no corrosion
-35,000km motor, just did the valve clearances last month, ~$500 dollar job
    -Regularly serviced and well maintained
    -Fresh WOF, reg til December

    Good write-up here: http://www.classicmechanics.com/news...tional-machine

I'll throw in a few spares including carbs, alternator, starter motor, wiring loom, regulator, ignitor and a service manual.
Not supposed to be riding it due to a recent head injury and I have a couple of projects in need of monetary attention, my loss your gain.
Viewings can be sorted, test rides cash in hand, 022 639 7323. Cheers

87, 88, 89 had four pot calipers too mate. FZ1000 was the last of the two pots.

Cheers, I read somewhere that the brakes were somehow different and that was the only change between 89-90 model years.
