I really hope that quote is taken out of context from a specific speed given by AA. I can understand Harold not being able to Math, but would hope the AA at least put some effort into it.AA calculated that in the last 5m before stopping, a car still held 25 per cent of its speed.

Once upon a time yours trully tried to test the theory that radars only read up to 250km/h and thought I would be safe above that on a modded ZX9. (young, dumb and full off......)
Anyway, my theory got shot to pieces when i got pulled over and mr plod quiet happy with him selftook me into his car and showed me flashing spped of 275km/h.
Got 12mnths loss of license and $1000 worth of court costs for my trouble
11 years later I have slowed down............. tincy wincy weeny bit
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
