    Good times.
I wish I had a camera facing backwards for that race, would of been a lot of close up shots of you I think

Cheers everyone, I had a fun day. I was very excited to try my new engine and it turned out to be a massive success. I am very impressed with Kerry Lindsay Engine Reconditioners who did a FANTASTIC job of porting my engine at a GREAT price and were very friendly. Considering they have never done an engine like the one I gave them, they can only get better. I was losing almost no speed at all on the straights to Andrew Adlam. I still haven't jetted it yet! It felt really weird and meant my gear changes needed to be different and how I was riding the track. I need to change my gearing now and my suspension because the speed going up the hill is A LOT more than it was even though I was cornering slower all day than normal. I was just grabbing big handfuls of gas on the way out of corners. I found it far less stressful than normal hahaha.

I also learned something about the Bridgestone Super Soft slicks today. I had my suspicions before and they were confirmed by Andrew Adlams laser temperature gauge. My suspension is a lot softer than Andrews and at the end of the race, using the same supersoft tires, I was generating about 5 degrees more heat. This explains why I have had to run higher pressures than him because I have been needing to keep the temperature down in the tires. From about 45 degrees and higher, the supersoft slicks seem to shear to frickin bits. So on cold days (like yesterday) my tires actually worked ok for once. I'm assuming the supersofts work properly from about 70 degrees and upwards (for 125gp bikes on tire warmers) but in between 45 to 70 the tires rip to pieces. I hope that is useful information for people. It certainly explains why in a 10 lap race I have heaps of dodgy sliding from about lap 7 to 10.

Sounds more like a MotoGP race debreif, ohh my tyres were going off Betty.

Yeah that bike is a lot faster- S'not fair, I'll have to start a thread,

Have you considered that the new found speed could be a by product of that decidedly dodgy 'tash you're now sporting? You may have to keep it. bet that would please yer lady friend.

Haha yeah motogp race debrief almost. I didn't use the words arrive, position and push though. The supersoft Bridgestones are mint though when not shearing.

I'll work on the suspension, rider positioning and gearing which will make me very happy with the bikes performance. Then I guess I should make it look pretty. I might pay to get that done properly rather than make it look worse than the Frankenstein look it has now.

Much thanks to Fish for organizing another great meet. Good to see Mihi taking his speech to heart and demonstrating the finer points of how to be horizontal. Great turnout.

Biker Bee, while finding it scary enjoyed her time out on the track.

Grade B riders have lifted their game since last season, which was great to see (or Im more unfit and older than I'm willing to admit to myself).
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
