Pretty cool alright, I'd be too scared to fly it especially after my first and last attempt recently to fly an r/c plane. Saw a jumbo jet scale model (huge still) on the net, had over US$30,000 in turbine engines. There was two videos of it, one of a perfect flight, and one of a large explosion as it hit the ground....

How the fuck do you take that down to the park on Saturday morning? You'd need your own hanger at the local airport.

Fuck that's cool!! Nice work with the landing too on the F-14!

WTF? Why didn't he just build himself a real aircraft instead of a 1:10 of a C-17A? He could have easily done it I am sure with the resourses that must have gone into making that model. At least his plane is unique though. When it's flying at a certain height, people from ground level might quite easily mistake it for a real aircraft.

one of the guys at work has a 14 foot wingspan A10 thunderbolt, with twin gas turbines. does around 100mph easily. burns kero, shoots flame on startup and has a replica gatt in the nose that shots smoke and noise out the front - you'd think you were under attack if you didn't know what it was!

not my cup of tea, I'd much rather get a nice RC ship or a real motorcycle lol
