    Who made this?

    Hi..
I just found this unit in the back of my new XT660... it a air temp senser eliminatior
to make the mixture richer or leaner.... by the means of a nob... twist to richen or lean..
It looks a bit home made ..
HAS anyone seen one anywhere in your prowling around web sites or know anything about
    this unit.....
think I will disconect it.. go back to the O2 senser...just in case its a homemade unit ..play safe...
till I know its lower & upper values are with in a range thats not going to hurt the engine...

Its a "Kev mod", allowing you to alter the temperature the ECU thinks the bike's running at, making the fuel mixture richer, to reduce the effect of surging at lean mixtures. Not as effective over the whole rev range like a power commander, but much cheaper.
