LOL..can't wait to see Telstra clear hit there available bandwidth service limits....get ready to crawl through the weekend folks (while every 12yr old in NZ downloads Justin Beiber vids...mind you...I would put money on smokeu's porn downloads being the straw that breaks the camels back ....)

My guess is Telstra's "testing the water" & relying on this 'skynet' to "control" people on the download front

you guys are so kind. My guess is their metering platform needs fixing so rather than saying there will be an outage they have spun it as a free for all. Good bit of PR.

Compass are advertising no limits as well for $79.95 naked broadband. www.compass.net.nz so maybe skynet has dropped usage patterns.

TelstraClear has proper glass fibre fed broadband, not that ADSL speed limited nonsense that gets wholesaled by the copper wire confederation.

Damn my broadband is slow now, it's normally 15Mbps on the same servers. Last night I was down to 3Mbps maximum on several different servers. I quit all my torrent and other downloading apps before doing these tests.
