Unhappy RIP Jason Richards - V8 SuperCars

    http://www.v8supercars.com.au/champi...4/default.aspx

THE V8 Supercar community is in deep mourning with the tragic passing of popular driver Jason Richards.

The New Zealander passed away peacefully last night at 8.00pm after a brave battle with Adreno Cortical Carcinoma (ACC), with which he was first diagnosed in November last year.

R.I.P JR. You will be missed Buddy.

Far out!! What a loss. He always came across as a true gentleman, never hot headed or egotistical.

    RIP

    Aw shit, that sucks.

And yes I realise that many many other 'unknowns' die every day from similar conditions etc, but not everyone of them we get to watch on TV and get to 'know them'.

Very sad. Another kiwi who made his mark taken away too early. What an awful time of the year for his family to lose him

Certainly raised the eyebrows when I heard it on the radio. I knew he'd been fighting cancer but I thought he was recovering and on the up. But I guess that's his personality coming though, always a happy, positive bloke who just got out there and did it.

    Sad.

Very sad, when I saw this on the news it showed him being interviewed 6 months ago.He was saying how hard it was to deal with writing up the next thirty years of birthday cards for his two daughters.
How could you deal with that?
