I've seen the Tri series at HD is a 2 day event. Can anyone point me to a programme showing what races are on which day (or are they the same on both days) ?
Which day would be best to go watch ?
thanks![]()

Anyone know what the booze regulations are for this event? Is it BYO OK but no glass, BYO anything, BYO nothing but booze available on site, or no booze period?

The way you have to go scratching around, you'd think they didn;t actually want anyone to come & watch. Wait, haven't we been through that already? I guess nobody was listening...
Why do you have to catch a glimpse of it from the advert in the paper (which only gives you the date & venue), then check all the sites you can to find out when it's actually worth turning up. Silverbullet didn't even have a listing, and he's usually onto it. Hampton Downs website had days & entry fee, but not classes or times.
The most comprehensive info was on the treatme website (above), but I ony saw what they had cosI dug around; the first thing I saw was that the half-price tickets were all gone. Now $20 at the gate, unless you're under-12.
WHO THE F*CK IS IN CHARGE OF GETTING & KEEPING THE PUBLIC INTERESTED IN MOTORCYCLING IN NZ? Cos they're doing a crap-awful job. Still.

In case anyone is dredging this thread in the future, my observations on the drinking subject are thus: you can take whatever you like in, no questions asked. The bar was not open for this event. The outside area around the 'bar' (i.e. the odd-looking white building which dreams of being the Sydney Opera House one day) is the designated 'drinking area' (i.e. "please drink your booze here"). But people were having the odd quiet drink elsewhere and no-one minded.
Respect is due for the delicious food outlet. Great to see an improvement on chips and hot dogs (although you can still get those if they float your boat).
