Awesome, some great trails in that area and a great pub too.

I'd heard about it a while back and a dude was going around the Burt Munro handing out pamphlets on it.

I got the impression it was focussed on the of-road/adventure bikers but maybe wrong on that.

Will have a look at it anyway.

Just finished doing an oil change on my DRZ400E after racking up 2000km's riding down from chch and then 1000km's of gravel and dirt tracks around Otago (and then riding back home). What an awesome event! Camping, riding, meeting nice people, eating nice food at the pub and listening to speakers such as Jo Morgan and the CEO of Hyosung...

It was fairly small with less numbers than expected but we had a great time and would highly recommend it to anyone.. Great to meet like-minded people and just go riding The adventure rides we did were around 200KM's each day and one 300KM day when we got lost (our own fault, should have followed the directions rather than listen to someone else's idea of where we were meant to go) .. the road riders were averaging over 500KM per day! Everyone arrived back at the pub each night with a huge grin thats for sure.

We will be back next year and hopefully bringing some other friends with us. For $50 you can't beat it!
