    Bloody Google...

    I tried to access my You Tube account this morning from the home computer and I had to log in using a google password instead of my usual tried, true and trusty You Tube combination.

    Needless to say, being afflicted with senile dementia, I had no idea what the fuck was going on and couldn't remember ever even having a google account for anything. Had to fart around with resetting passwords and all that jazz...

    Did I miss something? When did Google gobble You Tube?

    lol....I'm 41 and can definitely say that dementia has set in re the above for my You Tube account too

    Google acquired Youtube in 2006 but have only just changed the layout. Not sure why your login would have changed to your google one. Maybe a glitch in the system

    it changed because they are synchronising them
    dont have to but now one login for gmail and youtube (and probably others)

    I thought it was pretty recent since I use it frequently enough...Glitch? Dunno. Was the same on the work computer so seems like it's those goggle bastards' fault.

    I am realising that this is true. I opened a gmail account a couple of days ago for a specific purpose. That'll be why they got linked.

    BUT. Now that I have changed the password for you tube, I can't access the fucking gmail account... Fuck me days, simpler? Bullshit!

    I hate having to remember all of my passwords to each and every site that I sign up to.

    Happened to forget my Youtube one at some point. Couldn't be bothered with all the password reset jazz, So I just made a new one. Pure and simple. I don't have any videos, so its not that much of a big deal
