    One for the Christmas and Train buffs

    So she wanted a white christmas,with such short notice I came up with this

    Trainset is O gauge Hornby-Meccarno if you had one when you were a kid your either retired now or it was your fathers

    buildings and figurines are lemax

    Took about 2 days to knock this up,the missus is happy nowNow too bling the rest of the house with lights etc

    Nice, now that our kids are all gone and we have three spare bedrooms I would love a decent train set complete with trees and mountains and tunnels, TOOT TOOT.

    There's still a bit of O gauge Hornby on Trade Me but the sellers are asking stupid money for good pieces.

    My wife bought a box full that had been found in a garage - some is a bit rusty but most looks like it will be restorable. Three wind up locos among the bits.
    Edit - locos look similar to the ones in the pics: 0-4-0 with tender
    it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
    those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

    Sold a pile of it last month on Tm $1 reserve ended up getting more than we paid for it so people will pay what ever..
    There is a guy in pamly that repairs and restores he did the green engine for us and other bits and pieces
