I need a job. Got one?

I'm out of the hell hole that is Supercheap Auto and have enjoyed my few weeks of unemployment living off my holiday pay. Now it's time to get off my arse and earn some more Gixxer project money (and food money, but that's not as important).

I was hoping someone here may be aware of job openings out there?

I'm 22, have NCEA Level 2 and a Certificate in Auto Refinishing at Weltec, plus 2 1/2 years of being 3IC at SCA in Upper Hutt.

Around the Wellington Region would be most suitable, but I'm willing to move for the right gig.

Depending on what opportunities arise, I'll either work the summer or not work at all, then go off to Weltec/Uni. Though if I get a job I'm happy with, I'll stick with it.

P.S. Nothing retail, I'd earn more money and respect as a prostitute.

Been there, done that. Though I was in the best department for dicking around: produce.

The job might still be available if you try out their website. That's the only way you can apply for a job, store level only hears about you after head office approves your CV.

Some people enjoy the place, but I found it mentally straining handling the bureaucracy and foul customers. Having to discuss for hours about why things aren't getting done (you'd get fired if you mentioned too many long meetings) and customers expecting you to know the length of the bolt in a place they can't describe going off by the smell of the oil underneath their fingernails, but also being a dumb kid that doesn't know shit. Horrid place to work.

bahahaha I used to work there, hilarious

Really got to me because not only was I treated like someone without a brain (mostly by the customers) but a dumb girl without a brain that couldn't possibly know anything about motors and the like

Was not so bad though I was only ever part-time during uni or for uni holidays
Least now you will have parts experience, no?

Try the bike shops, they rarely advertise but if you go in introduce yourself with your CV you never know!
