At least you are further on then me Kel, still waiting on some material to make an air-cooled head for that mystery machine of ours.
Patience is a virtue.
Shame I haven't got it...

I believe you Kel. In fact I have so much faith I'll accept that sponsored ride for the GP (I'll put some hair dye through & buy some ridiculous clothes to try convince you I'm in my 30s, I mean 20s).
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
You're making as much sense as Akzle.

Firstly I owe Rob an apology, I wasted an hour of his time chasing my reoccurring ignition fault. Time to toss out the old KX85 pick up and coil!
By the time we finally found a base that was working I ran out of fuel before we could optimise things hence the power getting messy at the top and falling off too early.
I seem to remember I made the same set up mistake last time, i.e. go conservative on the timing to improve the spread and again it hasn't worked. I need to add 7 degrees timing to the inlet and 2 degrees to the exhaust to match the calcs, it doesn't sound a lot but Im thinking 2hp on top.
So I have a little under 30hp for the GP.

2 more hp at 10,500 rpm and you have your free blowys for life , or was that free blow ups for life lol,,,looking good!
Jesus! Nice one Kel! Start stretching for the GP now and there will really be a knife fight at the front!
That's a nice spread.

Bit of Nitromethane just for giggles and a dyno curve?
