    Honda crf230f 2005

    Hello All

Well... I had fun but.. erm umm, This just had 2 strokes to many, and more suited to a tamer rider.

So it would suite a first time dirt bike buyer whom is learning to ride, or something with short legs like me, or a female .. Or a farmer whom does not want to spend time fixing motorbikes, this ones MINT!!!

    As listed on trademe :

    Here

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-428370422.htm

    I will paste the blurb..

I may negotiate on price if I have too, but I would rather get it's values worth. Try it on anyway..

    Honda CRF230F 2005

A Super reliable first bike, Easy to ride!. I have purchased a 2-stroke motorcross bike and need to get this one moved on ASAP. Price lower than value.

I bought this bike at the start of this year, & have put 10x more effort into fussing over it than acually riding it, So this would make a fantastic reliable bike that will require no imediate attention upon purchase. I have done all the hard work and spent the $$ for you, And of course had fun doing it

Here is the long list of items I have serviced, and replaced or rebuilt.

    Frame/Wheels/External Components
*New Front Tyre - Never trail ridden
*New Pinch bolt studs on forks
*New Fork Oil to factory specs
    *New Fork Caps
    *New Handle Bars
    *New Bark Busters
    *New Grips
    *New Clutch Cable
    *Paint Matched and Frame Re-Sprayed
    *Exhaust Respray
*All Rear suspension linkage bearings replaced $$$
    *Rear wheel bearings replaced
    *New Rear Tyre
    *New Sprockets front and back
    *New DID Chain

    Engine/Carb
    *New Piston Rings
*All tollerences checked and showing minimal wear. These bikes amaze me!, so simple and reliable.
*New Top end gasket set as part of ring installation
*Rejetting Carburator to 130main, 42 pilot (2 1/2 turns out) to richen the top end.
*Installation of Honda Power up needle kit (3rd Position on needle)
    *New Timing chain & gaskets
    *New Timing cover

    Other comments
    - Good battery
    - Electric start as all the others
    - Everything works on the bike!
    - Light works
    - Has a clutch done aprox 6hrs (Off the top of my head)
Great first bike for someone whom is wanting an beginner/intermediate trails bike.

This may also suite a farmer as it will be trouble free for years to come, it has new bits! OEM Honda or better.

Note : The photographs are before its first and only trail ride, so expect the normal boot rub on the frame, and other cosmetic effects.

Feel free to organise a viewing.

    Serious offers only please.

A few of the items were worn, or worn out like the fork pinch bolt studs. The previous owner went it abit crazy on those :P, and they are like $2.50 each a stud OEM so why not, and the fork caps for example, were rounded a little on the edges and I had to worsen one even more just to get it undone when I replaced the fork oil, Could have put it back on but eh.. its my bike and I want it to be well maintained

Replaced all sprockets and chain because the front sprocket was a bit to worn for my liking.. so replaced that.. Oh and forgot to mention, the shaft seal there.. and the plate that holds the front sprocket on. I heard some rumour, and it makes sence.. that if you dont change all sprockets and chain, one of those items will wear faster.

So I really wanted reliability for a damn long time!, Did not think I would require a bike with more insanity bread into it though I kinda got this one for my wife hoping she would learn to ride, and it would do me for trails and low maintence.
