    Apostrophes without apologies.

Apologies for pedantry, but you can't have an ellipsis followed by an apostrophe.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I was about to say "You can't have an ellipsis followed by an exclamation mark".

Actually, as is proved by the OP you can. Whether it is correct grammatically or not is a different story.

Yes, yes Iain - I know. But that's hardly the point is it?

Correct. I bet you are hiding in shame after climbing in, and now realising that it's an exclamation mark and not an apostrophe?
