FOOD FOR THE SATURDAY NIGHT B-B-Q
I guess we just all chip in $10? each and by steak/sausages and bread? eg:20 people = $200
Alcohol is BYO...(thats Buy Your Own)

    Accommodation

Have a look at the link in post 1 and see how many each room sleeps.
Then buddy up like we did at Coopers Beach.
We have booked the Tui ...
May I suggest that, if you are a definate then get onto it..
She will allow us to book the one night...they dont normally do so that time of year but I think the numbers helped.

    FOOD STOPS
    Pirongia Cafe'...http://www.pirongia.org.nz/pagefiles/food.html
    Te Kuiti Cafe' for Lunch...http://maps.google.co.nz/maps/place?...32233007078837
    Okoroire...Lunch on Sunday http://www.thebikeshed.net.nz/about.php

    *The meaning of regroup.
...is to stop and regroup. Not take gear off and light up a smoke.

    RIDE RULES
: Each Group Leader will control the group speed (80-100)
:There Will Be No Passing Within Each Group
:The Use Of Mirrors is Paramount in a Group Ride Situation, Please use Them…Always
:Watch Your Following Distances With The Bike In Front, That Person is Your Friend.
:Please try and stay within 5-6 bike lengths with the bike in front of you.
:Staggered Formation Where Possible (no single file on the straight bits)
:If a car is bothering you in any way, indicate left and slow (where it’s safe to do so) and wave them passed.
:But ultimately have a way cool time.

**On a couple of occassions, I will be looking for the group to ride as one like we did on the way back from Kaikohe.
That worked well...some can then go on ahead etc.
I will explain in person how the ''revised'' corner points system will work on this ride.

    The only criteria is:

    You must enjoy/love/need/crave white sauce...

    That is all.

There are different types of units/cabins/bunk rooms/tent areas..all different prices.
Some with bathrooms some without etc.
Its best if each can arrange thier own accomm for this trip at the Camp Ground in Taupo.
The eating place is communal as per photos in post 1.
Last time we stayed there we had three to a unit and used the camp showers.

    Ha so did I!

Hmm, camp showers...Is that like the big open communal one like they had at woodstock? We should relive woodstock... I can see it now.
