    Done.
On my last bike I didn't even bother removing the strap. Wrapped around the bar quite nicely. My wife has one wrapped around the brake reservoir.

Would you consider someone still commuting (by bike of course) in the torrectial rain and howling gails we have at the moment in Auckland a real biker? My bike is my only transport - rain, hail or shine (I haven't tried snow or sleet yet - don't get that much in Aucks - but I doubt it would stop me).

I need a watch (or clock) so that I can make it to clients etc. on time.

Isn't that the idea though? Knowing the time is up to fuck all unless you can get where you're going faster. I wouldn't bother with a clock cos it wouldn't make fuck all difference to my arrival time.

Just keep the wrist wrapped around. (the throttle) and time is not a problem
    You're right though

No the only thing you need to qualify as a biker is not having a watch.

Some would say I ride too fast already down lanes 1a, 2a and sometimes 3a of the motorway.

In which I definitely qualify. I don't have a watch, just a clock - one on the bike, one in the phone, one on my desk, one on my computer(s), the list goes on...
