Auckland Buckets December 17/18 Fun Day

What does the Fun Day consist of? Do we get to thrash around the track?

Umm, at a guess, it consists of a day of fun.

Varies from year to year, depending on numbers and weather (somehow those two are linked). Last year the fun day consisted of sitting up by the clubrooms watching a few bikes riding around in the rain. Don't think anyone crashed, but they all got soaked.

The previous year was sprint races around the oval (not using the infield), which apparently was quite scarey, and other stuff.
It's a non points day and just aimed at having fun.

Oh, and Sarah has said she's bringing cake. If you haven't had the opportunity of seeing and tasting Sarah's cakes, it's worth coming along just for this. She made one last year of the track, with little buckets in the points finishing order. It was awesome, but it took hours to decorate. (Henk's got photos on flickr of it).

Hmm, funny what seems a priority to me (I don't think I even bothered riding at last year's fun day, but I had done some practice on the Saturday, I think).

Nope, not really. It rained a little bit at the GP and I went round and round without a front guard.

What he said. Did the F5 GP with no front guard at all. Anyway it isn't going to rain.

Obviously a cross-over with posting between NZ Mikey and I, so have contacted him and let him know we're running late.

I was having a fun morning dodging the puddles until I threw it down in front of the pit area...... got a very sore hand as the gap between the tank and throttle is less than my hand thickness..... and the gear shift is jammed.....Henk gave me some pointers on it....and cheers for the fuel.....mine was still at the servo where I left it...
