Yes, I saw it today...Nicolas Cage is going to be Ghost Rider a possessed motorcycle rider hellbent on justice in the next Marvel adaption.

Due for release next year.

It has but was a while ago and this was still speculation at that point. Glad it was him. I don't see any other actors fitting that role. Wonder if they will keep the same bike from the commics or change it to something more popular...

i ddnt even know there was a comic i hope it's like the guy that dus 350kph down motorways on his busa doing wheelies

heard he put himself into a back of a truck at like 220 and now his brother does it or am i being told tall tales again?

Oh yes that's all we need. A major production movie that shows non riding boy racers that it's cool to ride like a total fuckwit.

Hopefully they dont sit him on a harley or some other ugly creation, but alas i used to have a ghostrider comic and as tragic as it is i dont think he ever rode a sports bike.

I hope the script calls for plenty of somber pouting - cause thats all he can do - I saw 20 minutes of 'the rock' with connery this week and cage was just plain shite. So bad I still remember it now.

Nicolas Cage is a big comics fan (his real surname is Coppola... yes, he is related to Francis Ford Coppola - Cage is the surname of one of the first black cartoon character or something). Especially 'Superman'.

Which is how his new son has come to be called... Kal-El... which was Clark Kent's name when he was a baby on the planet Krypton!

How much stick is that kid going to get at school in a few years time?
