Dear god, I think I am happy that I am not attending if this sort of carry on is becoming acceptable.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Yeah Right. Henk is another one who says he doesn't like it, but he keeps coming back.

Looks like we have to wait until everyone is drunk so we can compare notes and give you a score out ten.

And Pumba, what do you mean "becoming acceptable" you've been to a few away meets

If you and Koba are both attending maybe I should reconsider attending myself, Koba always seems to lead me astray and you are just trouble.

You two defile and taint my good name with this rot. You both well know that I'm an innocent younger party, led astray by people like yourselves who are old enough to know better.

I wasn't going to dignify his post with a response. Tell you what, I'll let you have Koba's share of the plum brandy.

Do you think Tyler could pass himself off as 16 and drive to Ruapuna by himself? I want to race his FXR at Taumarnui

I can bring the left over beers that you lot left in my fridge, and there is a bottle or two of Bourbon here too...................I will pass on New Years and save it for the 7th

    No worries, see you there

Second thoughts, bring him along, surely racing at Taumarunui in the premier class is to be preferred to some minor race in the south Island.

    Red face

okay, rumours are starting already about pikers. Why? Yes, the weather has been crap this week, but it's meant to be good for next weekend.

Scared of staying in a tent with a bunch of (drunken) idiots? Head over to the campground down the road and be civilised. I think they've got cabins. There's houses to rent for reasonable somewhere in the region (can't remember the website I was looking at).

Basically, harden up, and come have fun, whatever the weather. Bring spare clothes if you're worried you'll get damp.

Mr Bennett has put a hell of a lot of time and effort into giving us this series (giving up his own riding most of the time), so come on, it'll be a good weekend (coming from me who's only ridden a few laps at Taumaranui - but I had fun anyway).

As Henk says, we go away for a fun weekend, and if all the stars line up, we get some racing in.

Can anyone remember if there's a DVD player? If there is, I'll bring along TT3D (Closer to the Edge), so that if we don't get up to any mischief, we can sit and watch that (unlikely there's no mischief).

What, if any, facilities are at the track?
We will be bringing a couple of the grandkids with us. We're all looking forward to it.

Toilets, kitchen, electrikery, running water (plus river), clubrooms (for hanging up leathers, sitting around etc).

It's an awesome spot, but with young kids, they will need to have someone keep an eye on them due to the river, but there's enough of us, plus other kids, and it'll be all good. Town's about 11km away, where there are restaurants, takeaways, petrol, booze.

Bring your riding gear as well, so you can go out for a blat on the bikes.

About the only thing missing is showers, but there is the river.
There was a BBQ last year but I'm not sure if that was one that somebody bought along or if it lives there.
