    Your experiences of dealer servicing

Got a Kawasaki 650r due for its 6000k service and wondered at your experiences with Taranaki dealers. Obvious choice is New Plymouth Motorcycles. Anyone used them or heard about them? Anyone on KB that works there? Also a Kawasaki dealer in Stratford. Thoughts?

Goodness me. Why bother with a licensed Kawasaki dealer to do your servicing when you clearly have doubts about their competence. Download a service manual, go to Super Cheap and buy all the tools and bits you need and do it yourself. Only go to a licensed dealer if you want to make a claim under warranty for anything you fuck up while learning to do things yourself.

Alternatively there are Kawasaki service agents in Auckland and Wellington. Try them. There's also a really good one in Melbourne. You could try them as well.

I'd take it to NPMC if I were you.
There are some very good mechanics there.

Tried the Melbourne one but they can't get me in until late in January as they are busy busy busy. Thanks for the advice though...
