    Newbie from Christchurch (bingslayer)

    Hey Guys.

Ive made a few posts but now that I have a bike I thought id post in here.

Bought this ZXR250 a few weeks ago, this is going to be my daily commuter. Dont have my licence yet but am doing the basic handling test next thursday and I cant wait! Have only putted around the block, havnt had a chance to stretch her legs yet.

The bike needs a bit of work, I bought a new battery and she started up sweet although the stupid alarm has now drained it.

First thing im going to do when i get my learners is take it in to get carbs cleaned/balanced/tuned and valve clearances. Does anybody know roughly how much this will cost and know a good mechanic in christchurch?

    Cheers

Regarding the Canterbury Wednesday Night Ride, it's here

To quote the first lines of the first post for meeting time/place...

It's an ongoing topic as for where to, but the meeting time/place is pretty consistently the same as in the quote.
They also tee up the odd 'any other day' ride there too between Wednesdays.

Oh crap, too many pages open at once, Subike answered while I wasn't looking.
