    I also didn't think they could follow you onto private property back then either - but I was a little cowed to have the great Ernie Seath doing a power trip on me and didn't think about that one.

    There was a certain Traffic Cop called Nash in Henderson who was universaly hated even by his own workmates - if you pleaded ''not guilty'' to one of his tickets the judge just said....'case dismissed!'

    He got me for speeding,failure to keep left,failure to stop,no WoF,no rego,and then made me push the bike home uphill while he sat in the car and watched.Too many counts to get off on there,and was lucky to walk away with just a fine.

    Bring back the MOT days I say!
