He might've been looking for me - I was coming north yesterday and got behind the usual cars going a good speed, then slow, then fast...so I took them all on that stretch. Of course they sped up,and I was doing 150kph to clean them up...then some bitch sits on my tail doing 120kph until I could put some more cars between us. I didn't want to do 150kph there because I know there were cops about, 120kph would be fine if they had stayed at 100kph....or the 80kph they had been doing not long before.

Nothing new here, I've never bothered with a radar detector for that exact reason, that instant on thing is like playing Russian roulette. These days I simply can not be bothered speeding on highways n that, eyes on stalks, head swiveling all about the place, meh
Lucky for me I live waaaay out rural, they are an extinct race out this way, the only time I've ever seen a police car in the valley in 10+ years was when they came out investigating a suicide.
I've never heard of a Commodore with reliability issues?![]()
Are they going to be lowered and have big bore exhausts?, ah, and are they going to be driven like all the other retards that drive them so they don't stand out from the others? Ha Ha, it wasn't you that pulled that tandem pulled trailer swaying all over the road north of wanganui yesterday arvo was it?, man that HP was more patient than I would have been.
It wasn't a mufti but I had a cop look at me when I took on some gravel on the Coast to Coast a few weekends back. Don't think I was speeding...
Oh, and I was driving back from the 'naki on Boxing day and among the 100's of HP cars was one quite older (probably at least 5 years old) commodore parked on a passing lane - definitely had lights above the dash. Also saw another bronze late model jobbie. There were also empty patrol cars parked on the side of the road in a couple of places (Waverley for one). All the bikes on the road were behaving themselves quite well too - wonder why...
Coming up the hill out of Taupo ... turn left here ... follow the road all the way through ...
