NZ Grand Prix Supersport race - Wow

Wow, what a race, and what a finish to the NZGP 600 Supersport race. I thought John Ross had Dennis in that last race, right untill the finish line that was.... Those triple R riders where going very fast.

Sketchy got a solid third Hopefully Jaden is alright, taking a tumble of the track at the end of "Pothole" which is a very fast place on the back straight to crash. Sammy Smith stacked his R1 in there in spectacular fashion a few nationals ago, you can ask him how many bones it broke.... Hope Jaden's Ok and fighting fit for the remainder. I think we'll see some fast racing in this class from these four

Denis Charlett always uses weird lines. Nice sequence

Seems Jaden decked one of the engine covers on the kerbing causing a fairly gentle low side. Sounds like everything is repaired and he's all ready to go again now.

Possibly even fastest corner in NZ, maybe second fastest behind turn 1 at puke.

Strange as it may sound, it was actually pretty gentle for that corner. I was talking to him and Cole in the pits and went down there for a looksee , got a little more than I bargained for

Seems Jaden is out of the Championships after a big crash at Levels today.

    Heres his post from Facebook.

Big Thank you for your support but sorry to all my sponsors, I'm sorry to say that I'm out of the race for the New Zealand Supersport Championship for 2012, after a testing crash at Levels Raceway in Timaru today left me with 3 broken bones in my back, some rib damage and a concussion, luckily no risk to my spinal chord so walked out of the hospital and will be back for the North Island rounds. Once again thankyou to www.homebuyersreports.co.nz, reserveplanning.co.nz, Yamaha New Zealand, Ricoh Photo Copiers and Printers, Metzeler Tyres, Rev'it Leathers and especially their awesome back protectors for keeping my legs moving, JA Russels, Robert Taylor and KSS, Manuka Boosta Energy Bars, Forma Boots, Airoh Helmets, Dave Cole Motorcycles and Glenn Hessel for flying down to Ruapuna to help out, Jamie Ward for supplying the bike, Mum and Dad for their continuing support even through injuries and broken bikes. But we won't lie down and feel bad for ourselves these things happen, its an unfortunate part of what I love to do and I'll be doing my best to get strong enough and fit enough to be back for the North Island Rounds. And last but not least Cheers Nick Cole for his trackside help today. I'LL BE BACK!

Thanks for that gav.... Not really the news I wanted to hear though.

Tough luck for Jaden. I wish him the best of recoveries, and hope he takes his time.
