Yes.
Haha, No such thing as online privacy lets me honest![]()
suck it and see. Google something you know is in a KB post and google's spiders will have found it.
Drunken Mistake may profile himself as a forum troll but in this case he summed it up nicely
You post online and the world knows. You can include text etc in that as well. Set out with that attitude then you don't get nasty surprises.Haha, No such thing as online privacy
Scroll to the bottom of this post for the summery.
I hate to say it but it just so happens to be the case, if someone wants to go to the effort of actually tracking someone down it probably isnt all that hard, you give the details on the right hand side beside your forum name , Bikes owned, And your residing city, well most people do that is, and occasionally someone will have or would have posted up pictures of their bike. So working with just that information, someone can go through every post you have ever made and find out a little more, then all they will need to do is keep an eye out for your bike and go from there, not saying its 100% effective but if someone wanted to go to the effort to actually stalk you via online or txts or whatever it maybe they will someone find you.
I may post some shit on this site and I may wind out alot of people it doesn't bother me, its who I am and if you cant take some piss take then maybe you need anger management, admittedly there have been a few people I have simply taken the piss out of because I didnt like their 'Online' persona, so be it, but as I said I dont do it because im 'safely' behind my laptop screen, where as some people do it for that exact reason and these are the people that really need to watch what they type online or upload etc etc,
I have started ranting about nothing again,
Just a note for those who upload videos of them riding their bike etc etc, regardless to if you speed or what have you some people upload the video of them leaving/returning to their own home, This is pretty prime to anyone who knows the area and especially anyone who may see you as a potential victim of theft.
Rant over.![]()
Google Mental Trousers... I just googled mashman kiwibiker and got a thread from today.
I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Haha. I work in road safety and am often surprised when I do a Google search at work and the first result is a KB thread.
Exactly, which is why I have never seen the point of Facebook. For people who know me from the other side of the planet thirty years ago it would take about three clicks on the computer or one phone call to track me down. People who don't know me can fuck right off. FB sucks arse.
Edit - Tribe is the best programme on TV.
Searched Google for the phone number of the local bikeshop in whangarei last week found a post KB from 2004 only about 6 down as well ranting about being ripped off by said shop, then the explanation goes on to say the shop did more than they were asked to, but the work was satisfactory and cost ok just didn't expect it.
Don't judge me based upon your ignorance.
Just thought I'd say the title of this thread makes me laugh everytime I see it. Keep it up!!
