    ZXR250a not idling properly

Hi, my ZXr250a isnt idling properly, if i adjust the idle screw it will just go up too far or drop down untill it stalls, the revs also move around abit whens its idling aswell. And the revs dont drop back down when you rev it as quickly as they should. My boss said it could be an air hose or a vacuum hose.

Any help would be much appreciated cheers.

A common cause of those symptoms is running lean. Often because of an air leak, usually where the carbs meet the manifold. Sometimes it can be the mixture screw/s need adjusting.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Check for air leaks.
    Split hoses, perished rubber.
Check the slides in the carbs move as they should (youtube is your friend)
    If this is all nice,
    Clean and balance the carbs.
