Well sort of live....
We arrived at 8:15pm Friday night to find a gaggle of tents already set up. Everyone in good spirits as a warm summer evening and a few beers does. Injury has already taken it's toll and Henk may not ride due to an evening Roller Blade incident. The kids have already posted some good times on their bicycles this morning. More later...
Please post pics of Henk looking all sad in his alleged plaster cast.
Weather is crap up here and I can't work on my bikes so I need something to make me laugh.
We awake to much wetness, forecast looks like rain for most of the morning so I think we will eat our bacon sandwiches and get on with it as soon as we can.
I will try to get a photo of Henk while he is looking his worst first thing.

Funny as ! Henk was on form and challenged me to a roller race no sooner as he got them on stood up Nek minit ! He won the race easy then got back to drinking ...was only later when rolling a fag that the wrist was a issue ....
Track is grippy with wets on and after some jetting problems the bike is now flying bring it on !

With Age + Injury maybe he is incapable of putting them on himself. Everyone at the track needs to pitch in to hire him a personal helper for the weekend.
A Grade 10 lap race- started feverishly but soon settled to a bunch of 3 at the front and a bunch at the rear, Gavin, Kelly and Rick leading the pack. A few position changes mid pack with Ryan, Adrian and Malcolm. Ryan errd onto the grass at one point but regained to stay with the bunch, late in the race Adrian conceded to lapping riders inadvertantly letting Malcolm and Ryan through at the same time. The race looked done and dusted with a typical Gavin NI Series win when suddenly an engine failure on his FXR handed Kelly the lead with for an easy finish. All other participants had a good ride with no other incidents to report.
Henk didn't race as his arm doesn't seem to work at the moment.
B Grade 10 Lap- Helen lead for about 2 thirds of the race suddenly caving in to engine noises from behind to let Joshua through. Billy the Kid langished in a hard fought 3rd due to insufficient engine power but has promised to steal his Dads bike while he's not looking. All others finished happily without incident.

Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death. (HT)
